;D ;D ;D I'm a happy man! Its great. Only running 5psi at the moment till i get the timing set properly and change the plugs but it goes alot better now Also, sounds amazing and drives so much better than stock. Makes you realise how crappy VW solex carbs are. On a seperate note, one of my plugs has a thin threaded sleave on it. It wont come off the plug. The head was obviously stripped of its thread so was drilled and tapped and some kind of conversion sleeve used. Anyone know about these and where to get them? I need to change the plugs now, but will replace the head soon.

looking good only bad bit of news is that conversion sleeve is meant to stay in the head If you ask for a helicoil they shoul be able to give you what you need, may be an engine out or head off job to refit and sort it though

Cool, ill see if i can get one. thanks. The thread in the head is still a normal plug type pitch.
Its a pain in the ass, but ill sort it temporary till i swap the heads for some ported jobies.
Took 3 of us all weekend to sort it out but its great now, cant wait to get it up to 10psi and get the intertcooler on it ;D

box should be fine with up to 150bhp, as long as i don't take the curse word with it. Just need to remember to always pre load the diff before launching.
