thinking about a slight cosmetic styling tweak to the roof Curently it looks like this  So any comments on either This  or This  please excuse the MSpaint chops!! I've got my eye on a black tailgate and spoiler and wanted to follow the black and grey theme over the roof (with a twist) bonnet obv is already black |

I like chequered stuff ! I would do it in subtle colours .The oblong one looks better to me !

Hmmmm, not sure. In the pics it doesnt look good but if it was done in an almost ghost style you may get away with it. From you pic the anthracite looks a lot brighter than it generally appears and the MS paint black looks too dark. How would you do it, vinyl or paint. If you were going to paint it I would probably just rub it all down and re paint it anthracite |

Yeah i'm not too keen on the chequers, although I see why you were thinking about it. I reckon Phoenix's idea is best, roof same colour as bonnet and then source a tailgate in the right colour or paint the current one too. That will look really smart |

thats turned out really well mate! I thought so my MS Paint attempts at recreating the "look" I wanted was pretty shabby - the squares are kind of ghosted on - when you see the car in the flesh it doesn't jump out at you at all are you bringing it up to the next pub meet? Yep provided I can keep it right side up and in running order on Sunday |
