Pretty sure this will be ok, see plenty of 00 plate cars on here.
Great tat hauler.
£1250 ono - good price for a sub 100k V70. Located in Farnborough, Hants.
For sale - my colleagues beloved 2000 X plate Volvo V70.
This is a 2 previous owner car - Nicci my colleague has owned the car since 2010, and her brother was the owner before her since 2005!
This car has been treated extremely gently - Nicci isn't a girl racer, never thrashes the car from cold, its a genuine good quality well built Volvo.
If you need a 7 seater and want something with a bit more class and power than a Zafira, you are on the right tracks.
I will try and cover as much as I can, but anything you think I've missed, just ask me a question. I can either pass the message on to Nicci and reply on her behalf, or pass her phone number over so you can drop her a line.
You might find cheaper Volvo V70's out there, but you'll struggle to find one in this condition, with low milage and a caring owner.
Basic Summary:
Volvo V70 - 2.4 litre petrol engine.
First registered in 2000 - an X plate.
Very low miles for the year of approximately 94,000.
7 seats - fold away into the boot floor when not in use.
MOT for 11 months
Tax for 5 months
Excellent runner - always serviced regularly and cared for!
All the toys - electric windows, mirrors, sun shields, dog guard, 7 seats, Sun roof, you name it.
In very very good condition for the year - not abused, well cared for!
The biggest folder of paperwork that I've ever seen in my life - a massive stack of history - receipts for pretty much everything the car has ever had done.
Had the cambelt changed at 65,000 miles.
Bodywork:
This car is in excellent condition - it cleans up nicely, and has plenty of years of service left. There is a small scratch on the nearside rear door, and a small dent in the front bumper, which I have included a picture of. There is also a small crach in the nearside front light. Nothing that detracts from the overall visual appeal of the car.
Engine/Gearbox:
Starts first time, every time. Never put a foot wrong - serviced regularly. Plenty of power available, the gearchange is smooth, there are no funny noises coming from the engine or gearbox, its exactly as you'd expect.
Wheels/tyres:
A full set of new tyres were fitted at 75,000 and are in good condition. The alloys are in good condition given the milage and age of the car.
Brakes/Suspension:
All in good working order. No bangs or rattles or squeaks.
Electrical system:
All good - there is a small issue with the alarm siren battery backup which leaves a message on the dash when you get in the car - but this goes once you drive away. Can be easily sorted with a replacement battery backup, or siren, or even by removing a fuse.
The car had an ECU fault approximately 2 years ago that was taken to a specialist and repaired - receipt is included in the massive paperwork file.
Paperwork:
This is where the car comes in to its own. I've never seen a car come with such a massive folder of paperwork! Pretty much every penny that's been spent on the car is catalogued - receipts for the cambelt, tyres, service after service after service - its amazing!
