 Under the bonnet all I can see referenced is 'colour 79' or on the other side 'RED B GIAVBE40089' internet searches reveal nothing from that I have had a search around for the colours the mk4 was available in (and I am fairly sure it's not had a respray) My guess is Strato Silver on the bottom and either Velvet or Cardinal Red on top Any help would be very much appreciated as it really needs the paint sorting now, it's flaking off all over the place Ta |

Elsewhere I have had Jupiter red (over Strato silver) strongly suggested
it's a 79 colour so i'm going to see if I can get some

Its not cardinal red, as that was only on the MK5 of Cortinas, plus Cardinal is non metallic! MK4 Ghia's did come in Jupiter Red so my money is on that  |
