when youre dead on holiday
doing merc but ill be there on a monday when the museum is shut
what else can i go see??
don't fancy the porsche one as theres only ever 20 cars on display...... would take 5 mins to see.....
is there a porsche landrover bit where cayennes get tested or summat similar??

Are you sure, the museum has closed on monday ? Also, i am not 100% sure, but the porsche museum is closed as they are building a new one at the moment.... if you have a car, the museum in "Sinsheim" is worth a visit, Sinsheim is directly at the Autobahn to Frankfurt; there you can spend at least a day, lots of trucks, planes and tanks and of course a lot of cars there.... and of course you can visit me, i am ~ 30kms away from Stuttgart.... ;D

I went to Sinsheim last December, and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in cars / bikes / trucks / airplanes / engineering...
It really is an amazing place, and you simply won't believe the amount, diversity and quality of the exhibits !!!
I spent around 6 hours walking around the place and still felt I hadn't even seen (let alone closely examined) one third of what was on display... So get there early in the morning and don't expect to leave before the security guards ask you to...
And mrj is absolutely right about it being crowded. I went there mid-week, a few days before new years' eve, in the freezing cold and rain, and the place was still full of people !
