Audi A4
2000 X Reg
1.9 TDi (Red I) Version 115 SE AJM PD with 143K and as with most VAG diesel engines this is just run in.
Very quiet engine no smoke and no fluid leaks and pulls nice and strong and starts on the button every time.
Gearbox is excellent no noises or crunching gears and the clutch feels fine no slip or noisy release bearing noises.
Electric windows front and rear
Power Steering
Anti Lock Brakes
Drivers and Passengers Air bag with facility to disable passengers
Excellent factory stereo CD player.
On board Steering control computer with mpg, fuel remaining, average speed etc
16" Standard alloys with good tyre tread remaining.
Very low owners (x3) for a 13 year old car and has a huge history file with all book packs old mot's and 14 stamped entries in the service book along with last entry at 140224 which included Cambelt and water pump.
x4 Remote genuine keys.
Mot Jan 17th 2014 and Tax till 1st November 2013
V5 present and in my name.
Recent new front brake discs and pads, new cv boot and a front brake hose which were advisories on the last MOT, also a new timing belt and water pump this year meaning no big bills are looming.
Very reliable and extremely good on diesel.
Deceptive boot space swallows loads of luggage and recently went on a family holiday with a fair bit of luggage.
Bodywork in fairly good condition obviously it's 13 years old which means there are a few blemishes it has picked up over the years, nothing tatty and still pretty presentable. no dents or damage just the usual small bumper scuffs and some of the lower rubber door mouldings have started to perish over the years.
It's a very solid car underneath and there's only one small patch of corrosion on the near side rear lower corner of the door about the size of a 10p.
I recently took the A4 in px against my A3 Daily as I wanted something bigger for the family and better on fuel as my daily driver but actually, I no longer need the A4 any longer as I am now looking to commute by motorbike as I'm sick and tired of sitting in traffic for 70 mins a day to travel 12 miles!! plus this is now my second car having picked up a retro Nissan recently that will be used for the non biking jaunts.
Hence I need to sell my A4 to release some extra funds for me to add to my pot to buy the bike I want.
I'm looking for £1,195 for my A4 which I think is superb value for money for a 2000 Model year A4 and a very reliable German car that has years left of service with no big bills looming.
Would possibly do a deal against a Triumph TT600, 600cc Ninja or K1> GSXR would consider others possibly an R6 but I'm more in to sports esq bikes.
