The 23 year-old window scrapers/seals (whatever you call them) no longer touch the glass so water is running down the glass and into the inside of the doors. This is a common thing with old cars, I know.
Now, if this was a Mini etc, I would just buy new as they're reasonably priced. It's a VW so the prices range from £16 each (I need 4) to £54 EACH.
My question is this - Could I possibly refurb them and maybe get them to seal on the glass again? Will some scrapers from another car fit maybe?
I know there's plenty of resourceful chaps on here who may have sorted this problem before
I haven't considered second hand as I'm assuming all 20 odd year-old window seals will be the same.
