I`ve just taken this in part exchange, and thought I`d try RRers at a cheap price before I re MOT it and throw a bit of time and money her way.
So, it`s been owned by the same chap since 1998, and has covered a genuine 37 000 miles from new. Although there is no service book, it has MOT history back to 2006, with very few miles between tests. It also has a couple of stickers under the bonnet, stating what date and mileage it has been serviced, and any work done. I have total confidence that the miles are totally genuine.
It only has a short MOT, but has only done 2000 miles since last year. By the looks of things, the majority of advisory notes have been rectified too.
Bodywork is superb. No rot. There is a bit of surface rust to the O/S/F wing, and what looks like a very minor rust repair to the O/S/R arch. You can only spot these by looking closly. Also, the bonnet will need a good mop, as it looks like it`s been sat under a tree. Again, from a distance, it looks fine, when you get closer, it looks a bit dirty....it`s only when you touch it you see what it is.
The interior is near immaculate. Seats, carpet, dash, boot, roof....all great. All looks standard too.
Tyres all have between 6 & 8mm tread, with matching hub caps.
Starts first time, drives very well. There is what I belive to be a noise coming from either the flywheel or cluch release bearing. There is plenty of space under the bonnet, and the box doesn`t have to come off to change the flywheel on these, which is a bonus. Added to that, there`s an oil leak coming from what looks like the rocker cover. This was an advisory on the last MOT, so obviously isn`t too bad.
This is a critical description, and is a great, low mileage retro estate. IMO, it`d be a shame to mess about with this, by doing engine swaps etc, so I`d rather sell to someone who will keep it as it is. However, I don`t dictate what other people do, so who whoever buys it can do what they want with it!
I`m afraid I`ve never mastered how to add pictures to a thread on here, so the only photos I have as of now are on the following photobucket link;

Any other photos or details, just ask. The photos were taken today, without even having a wash or a hoover. This is how I received it.
