Right, so I just bought a car and its got some 7J wheels on it which are fitted by some shonky generic spacers. Tried taking them off and the amount of clearance is tiiiny, so I'm looking to go to something properly sized. Steel or alloys. Tyres aren't a big deal as I've just had some new ones fitted to these so I'll be swapping them over.
Thanks!

What is it? As the offset does vary a little bit?
Also what are the 7x15's it has?

I've got a set of alloys that I bought - were on an Audi 80 - RH Classics in 7x15, 4x108 ET37ish IIRC. I think the centre bore is 57.1 for an Audi, so might need a turn out if you're putting them on a french motor. They're round and straight but the lacquer on the dish is flaking badly.
Send me an email and I'll shoot you some pics. Based in Berkshire.

What is it? As the offset does vary a little bit? Also what are the 7x15's it has? It's a Xsara 1.6, the problem is there's only about 3-4mm clearance to the inner arch which has me worried about it. The current wheels are some sort of rather '90s looking 5-spoke Ronals, don't know the model name as the only numbers I can remember off the inside were the size and offset (ET15). Tyres on 'em are 195/55/15s.

on the rear of a pug/citroen with a torsion bar rear end they are very close anyway, but due to them moving in a perfectly vertical arch wont rub even when that close.
however I would check that the beam is not knackered.
for a xsara you need ET 15 to 10 for a 7" rim, a standard 6" rim is ET19, so I think you will be just fine.
