It's not exactly a classic (but will but will be one day) but it should make a great tow vehicle for fetching classics! Its a 1995 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L on LPG.
Bought it off ebay for very cheap because of a nasty knock in the engine.

Went to fetch it from near Basildon (70 miles around the M25) this morning and made it to within five miles of home when it finally expired. Which was probably for the best because the Recovery truck driver has an Isuzu Trooper running on lpg so he was a fountain of advice and knowledge. I'd forgotten, until he reminded me that tax is extremely cheap on LPG vehicles.
I've got another engine for it already.
Best of all SWMBO seems to be ok with it even though I didn't tell her until after I purchased it. Something about LPG is cheap, tax is cheap, it has power everything and leather, visibility is cheap and look dear it's a foot shorter than your Mondeo and you said you wanted a smaller vehicle.
