I'm selling this Saab 93 Convertible that I somehow got involved with a couple of months ago.
It's a 2.0S non turbo,
112,000 miles,
MOT April 2014
Tax end Nov 2013.
Some service history.
I've exceeded my car bandwidth and the Mrs is starting to get annoyed at all the cars at the house so I need to get shot of something and I'm not ready to part with the XJR yet.
When I got it it had a dent in the door, which I've now fixed to a reasonablish standard but was let down by a curse word colour match aerosol (damn you ebay) . It all been laquered, wet sanded, compounded etc etc so is nice and shiny. I cannie be arsed doing it again and the result would probably be similiar anyway.
The interior is black leather and in good condition. Everything seems to work other than the aircon. The roof works fine but will annoyingly snag on the cover on the way down. I've fannied around with to little result and I think the hinge needs adjusted possibly with a big hammer.
It seems to drive well for one of these, by which I mean it's horrible. I can't see any of the signs of OMG bulkhead failuze and there's no distressing oil pump noises. The starter seems a bit lazy on occasion but it's always started. Other than the curse word paintwork by me the car is really clean. The only bit of rust I've found is a bit of the lip of the front wheel arch and it's spotless in the inner arches and underneath.
I'm in Ayrshire, West coast of Scotland. £750.
