	does anybody, know where abouts on an e30 i wil find the stamped vin number?? i found the plate next to the right hand headlight but cant find the one on the body work, its not on the scuttle and thats where i thought it should be, cheers

	there should be 2 numbers on the lower edge of the scuttle, one is the vin the other is the body no. if its a factory re-shell/south african import it might have been stamped around the turret top, although I forget which turret
