here are some pictures of a perfect sunday; we started early in the morning to get to the "Retroclassics" in Stuttgart, biggest classic car show in this part of the country.... here are some pics :
oh yes, nearly got crucified because of this :
for 5 Euros charity you could select a ride; i said " i want to drive in this Bentley".... ok, it was not a Bentley, but a "Railton".... great experience, straight 8 engine, great noise ...
then picked up my ebay bargain , a nos rear fender for the type 3... again it was 5 Euros ;D

and , to make the day really perfect; i managed to get the Audi running.... found a new fuel pump and a fuel distributor and fixed the pump :
new pump, good secondhand fuel distributor ...
a very basic fuel pump relay ;D ;D
and the engine was running.... first time for four years....
ok, the living room smells now like a petrol station, but you can't have it all
