TStport front grille (sought after apparently)
Boot lid and bonnet cut back and painted with Red Oxide primer. Poor effort all round. As seen in picures.
MK1 Golf 14" slot steels. Trim rings and centre caps painted in Red Oxide primer. Again, badly. As shown in pics.
Deep dish suede OMGFWD Driftwpn steering wheel and aftermarket boss. JDM style horn plate and NOS boost horn button (gets all the chicks god dang pannies wet.)
Drilled 8 ball pool ball gear knob.
JDM front arch flares. Drilled and rivited.
Brand new 4" back box. Sounds either "chavvy" or "awesome" depending on your outlook on life.
Lots of stickers.
Points that are good to note:
Serviced in the last 1000 miles: air filter, oil filter, oil, coolant drain, flush and refill, plugs, Aux belt.
Brand new manifold and back box in last 1000 miles. (comes with mid-section and cat, not fitted)
Ignition is coilpack so no leads.
Engine is timing chain so no belt to spend endless evenings worrying about.
Car returns a genuine 41mpg around the doors. A genuine 55mpg at 55mph.
Infocentre computer-ma-bob tells the truth and shows average speed, average mpg, 2 trip meters, and live mpg.
A thing of note:
Engine management light is on.
ODB2 reader is throwing code P0402 - Catalyst efficiency below recomended theshold.
Good news is that it comes with a brand new exhaust centre section and cat. (not fitted).
There are dents or scrapes on most pannels. Previous owner was a teenage woman.
I have done my best to disguise/celebrate the small knocks and scrapes using stickers and paint.
However, there is NO rust. Its solid.
The car is my dailly driver. It has never failed in any way. It is an utterly reliable, utterly economical small japanese car. Motoring does not get any cheaper. Insurance, tax, fuel, parts are all cheap.
