Hi, feeling creative, i tried to muck about with pictures of my MR2 but too tricky for what i have in mind so had a rough muck about with Darrens Quorsa instead as i have also been getting ideas about it. i wanted it all satin black with rodesque chrome bits, instead i quit while i was a head with the work in progress wet and dried fake 'patina' look. bit messy but you get the idea! what does yas think?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

it worked better in my head but it looks tougher filled in. hmmm... pannelling the back door window too could work for a kinda 'shop hack' look!

Interesting! I like the grille ;D It was parked in Liverpool city centre yesterday evening, on one of the main streets (Hope Street, outside the Philharmonic if you know it) and I could see it through the window for an hour or so while we had a drink. The reactions of the passers by was quite amusing - more than one person was performing a real-life " " expression, made me laugh lots ;D

I didn't have enough, but yeah I'll get to it eventually ;D Matt - it came off surprisingly easily, I measured it first though and it was two and a half inches out, nowhere NEAR straight ;D

I like the full roof panel. whats great about summat like this, you are free to bu88er about with it without risk of ruining a loved or expensive car, although i'm sure you are now attached to it. i'd sure love to see this 'project' evolve some more, what ever you decide to do. in the mean time i am cooking up some silly ideas for my white MR2!

I want wheels and a lamp bar like this: but we'll see ;D I'm not attached to it at all really, but I do like watching the reaction from people in traffic queues etc. It's not as bad to drive as some cars but it's no great fun-filled adventure either ;D

Also, I found this up in our loft this morning: (excuse the poor phone pics) If I can work out a way of waterproofing it, I might stick it on the roof, although I'd love a luggage rack for over the back window ;D
