ive got an airbrush now and i was wondering it enamel could be used, if so what can i use to thin it down? would oridnary thinners do the trick
i would usually supply some cool pics but I'm at work and cant source any just now

use the correct thinners for the paint really for the best results. The type of paint you use will state what thinners or reducers it needs.

how can i find out what paint needs what thinners??

read the "product data sheet" (all paint products are supposed to have one)
Look on the side of the tin
check the website

was just gonna get a coule of tins from wilkinsons so not sure if that info will be availble haha. ill just bang some thinners in, its bound to work .

you have to be very careful matching thinners!
my grandfather was an airbrush artist and you can use any paint you like (within reason) through it but mixed appropriatley. Xylene thinners are pretty good for a general thinner
ring a paint supplier and they'll tell you the right thinners

Xylene thinners are pretty good for a general thinner ring a paint supplier and they'll tell you the right thinners personally i would use a fast thinner for base coats micas a medium thinner for silvers i.e metallics and medium/slow thinner for gloss finish fast , medium and medium/slow refers to the drying rate try it out on a scrap panel and see what you prefer
