Someone has told me that there are only 350 left (according to DVLA).
This makes me sad cause I love them - I had a Punto Turbo and I've always wanted a Uno Turbo as a resto.
Anyone got any pics for old times sake?

350?! No way! Saying that, I haven't seen an Uno in any shape of form for quite some time. Dreaded tin-worm has no doubt claimed them.

Wow that rare? I know where theres one sitting on a farm doing nothing, totally standard turbo with low miles. Might have to investigate that! Can't find any pics..... but thinking about it I don't think i've seen a decent modified one?

There's one down these parts, the ultimate sleeper. People scoff at it and mock it on the dragstrip because it's a little Fiat Uno.. then it SMOKES them, hahah, gets me everytime, I love it. I've got a Belgian made arches, skirts and bumpers sitting in my shed, incase I ever happen across one to buy for myself. Turbo or non-Turbo, I'm not fussy. Problem being, most are rotten.

I had 2 of em, first one had all the turbo stickers removed and the badge replaced with a Uno 45 one 2nd had a modded wastegate valve woohoo!! could take it off the rev counter in 5th and then realise you're doing 140 in a feckin UNO!!! Badged that one the Twin Cam Eater to annoy the AE86 boys at rallies Wrote off the first one at 25mph they don't like rear ending buses 2nd fell apart with rust...

I'm surprised there are as many as 350 left TBH.
Thats more than there are FD series Victors, about 4 times as many as there are Ventoras left and probably ten times as many as there are Renner 12s...

There is a OK one sitting 100 yards from me right at this moment. It has not been used for 2 years but is sound and all working and kept under a car port.
I went around to the old boy who owns it to ask if he would sell it too me, he said yes but wants £1750 for it.
Neadless to say I can wait till it gets worse and offer less.

I have to say I have not seen an Uno Turbo is ages, I think most have been killed off by rust and over enthuiastic bleed valve abuse (swiss cheese pistons anyone? ) When I lived back in Surrey there was a guy with a lush black late spec one had all the abarth kit on it, my poor old mfi xr3i just could not keep up

I hate when people do that - there's only one way that will go: The guy will stick to his crazy price whilst the car rots away. In a couple of years when it's nothing more than a pile crusty oxide and seized parts, he'll get it towed by the scrap man for nowt as a "favour". What a waste.

Hmmm...... That wouldnt be for John "Desira" would it? Nope further north....... But Desira was a big chain in those days The dealer I worked for went from Subaru to Skoda to Lancia to Fiat to Hyundi With the exception of Lancia & Fiat each time he changed franchises the sales of the previous one rocketed!!!! Gave up subaru just before they left behind their farmer utility vehicle image Gave up skoda just before VW took over Gave up Lancia cos the pulled out of the UK Fiat pulled the plug on him IIRC Not even sure if it's still trading!!! Complete muppet!!!
