Make/Model: Daewoo Matiz SE
Year: 1999
Colour: Red
Mileage: 56k(ish)
Tax: None
MOT: 12 Months
Service History: Part History
This vehicle was bought Feb 2012 for my wife, it had no tax or mot at the time. Was stood around for 3 months until she passes her test (incentive)
In May it went through alot of new parts and welding to get it through MOT and in Aug she was insured and driven. Following things I got done for MOT:
Mini service
Cambelt @ 52k
Front passenger hub changed
Rear passenger anchor welded
Rear tyres replaced (part worn)
When I got the car back the speedo was acting all funny, kept sticking to 40mph when stood still which seemed too fast. I replaced this with a second hand unit but the downfall is that the mileage is now shoing 74k. I still have the old broken speedo to show as proof, this is why I have listed it as 56k(ish). Vehicle is only used to run kids to mosque/mums house/mother-in-laws. All within 30miles of where we live.
Since then it has been a very reliable car and hasnt returned to the garage until MOT was due. New MOT was passed 07/06/2013 with only a small weld.
It has a Pioneer CD player which works perfectly, Alarm & Immobiliser.
Interior:
Is in mint condition, pet free. We do smoke but not in the car. Including her own personilised floormat Julie.
Faults:
Some scratches on drivers door
A scratch on rear passenger arch
Headlight trim & rear spoiler paint is fading
Rear brakelight has a hole in plastic trim
As you can see, faults are cosmetical. The car itself is flawless and has been uber reliable for me. £10 fuel gets me 101miles with some careful driving. Its a great first car for my wife who is sad to see it go.
