	right, id like to lower my golf, but I'm confused! I want her to handle good, and I'm not wanting her to be crazy low, maybe 40mm lower would be good. I would like coilovers, but it would take me ages to save up for them, so what are the lowering kits like? I need new shocks on the back anywho, so what does anyone in the know recommend?! The cheaper the better within reason, but i understand you pays your money you gets your goods!

	In my experience....... I would recommend Spax (adjustables if the funds allow) had them on my first XR3i and they where the plums even on skinny 14" part-worns it handled better than any car I have owned and most I have driven. If you really are on a budget or just can't wait G-max are good (for a budget kit). The most important thing is get a kit. Mixing and matching, spring and dampers aint great. Steer clear of Pi stuff IMO over priced and curse word. Edit: Anyone who tells you you "need" coilover is talking poo.
