Hello friends, was wondering if any of this vast retro community might know anything about the history of this car.  The furthest ive tracked it back to is that it came from the deepest darkest depths of Wales. apparently might have raced in the Darkar? pretty exciting stuff A! Id love to know some more. I don't but i might know some guys who do. Try lada.co.uk it has a forum much like this which I'm sure someone can help. I have rat niva, it's good to see them appreciated, nice one.

Will do when I get 5, I also stumbled on a website called ladaniva.co.uk/Baxter which if u go into the gallery's page then racers there's loads of historic Dakar nivas, might be worth a pop

Asked if he would do a straight swap with a pug 304 cabrio
A couple days later this hunk a junk turned up on my doorstep...
