Evening guys.
Maybe you can help me, I have just removed my rather nice head unit from the B (just was not getting its use so its going in the coupe), and in its space I want to fit a few guages, 3 to be exact.
Right the issue I have is how the hell do you wire up a vacuum guage, I presume it fits to the inlet somewhere, do I have to tap a hole for this?
Cheers in advance

Yeh it needs to fit into the inlet manifold after the throttle butterfly. A good tip is to fit it into the vacume advance take off with a t-peice or even the servo take off if you have one. Not that i relly understand the point of a vacume guage tbh!!

Its just for the look really and to fill a gap from where the head unit used to be. So I might as well wire it up to work.
Yes there is a takeoff for the servo, excellent matey,
Cheers

In the case of a 100E they it could tell you how well the wipers are likely to work if you switch them on

Put a T in the dizzy vacuum advance, runs off that quite well and prevents drillin' & tappin' a new hole in the fannymold

Ahh I don't have a the vacuum advace on the dizzy, this was removed when I moved to Optronic Ignition.
So I will just run a T off the already hosed in pipe for the servo.
