It's time for me to sell my Metro. I bought it in April this year to use as my daily whilst my mini was having its holes repaired. That's now finished so I'm done with it!
It's a GTa, so has alloy wheels, rear spoiler, red seat belts, good looking interior, sunroof and a perforated steering wheel. These are quite rare as a limited edition.
I bought it off an older guy who bought it as a stolen recovered and had been restoring it over 3 years for his grandson, who now wants a beetle. So in that time it has had 4 new arches, suspension pump and a full respray. There are two bubbles of rust on the whole car and they are on the roof. They havn't broken the paint so no concerns there. The logbook states "Sustantially repaired and/or accident damaged, identity checked on 15 02 2010" I know it had the door bent and the steering column smashed, but that's all and I don't know if it has a CAT marker on it. My insurance never mentioned it.
Engine is a 1.1 8v K-Series, doesn't use any oil but it is leaking water from somewhere, I know it's leaking because there's a puddle on the floor sometimes and it drips down the inner wing. I put water in it every couple of weeks but it's not headgasket related and it doesn't overheat.
Would benefit from a bit of treatment on the bumpers which I just never got round to.
Runs really well and quiet, gets lots of comments due to how clean and bright it is!
