Just got back from a couple of days away to find the Missus has bought a new car, and rather than going large to replace the Volvo 240 she's gone small - very small in fact.
She's now the owner of (drum roll) an early Perodua Nippa!
What advice re: alloy wheels gents? And should we go the roofrack/fablon look too?

bejessus - someone actually bought one of them out of choice?
I thought that you only acquired one by being 85 years old and so confused that you signed the order form thinking you were signing up for the Daniel O'Donnel fan club.
Didn't they used to sell them in Tesco or was it Morrison?
My life lets see you make something out of this one then...

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Yup.....! You got it! Red too, so it looks like a flippin' telephone box on wheels.... Anyway, alloy wheels next on the cards. Maybe I could mount it on davits on the back of the '32.

Well, I like 'em! I can't resist small, oriental triple pot motors. I love the early Matiz as well.
There's no hope for me!

It needs like 7x10 chrome Weller 8 spokes and zero profile rubber stretched over them. I'd colour code the bumpers and maybe graft in a grill from one of those little things that has the chrome tooth grill, I thought it was a Hyundai Getz but seems not from google.

Well, we've got it. The boss picked it up at lunchtime and I'm amazed how much fun it's proving to be - all that bare metal, no central locking and so on...
But we're sorting some (hopefully) yellow tinted windows tomorrow and in the next week some decent alloys too.

what year is it? I'm sorry but it seems utterly dreadful. lots of neg camber on work equips as said would work wonders for my (our) perception though. ps good catch, a wife that buys cars behind your back
