I have a mate who has two of these for his business, he makes and sells Mexican food from his vans, named Jesus H Van and Mary.
if you frequent festivals, you might see him, the company is called Luardos.
love the van, looking forwards to seeing where it goes. Bookmarked!

With the MOT sorted I sent for the registration pack. This arrived a week latter. I filled it in the best I could. So armed with this, my Mot. Drivers licence and insurance I set of to the DVLA Worcester. I immediately hit a snag “where your NOVA form” the stern faced woman asked.. A what?.. “The Nova Form” she repeated. You need this form before we can proceed. Apparently since April this year all imports need to apply for a NOVA “Notice of vehicle arrival” from HM Revenue and customs. They then tell you if there is any duty or VAT to pay. This can be done online. You receive there verdict almost immediately. In my case there was nothing to pay. You then print there reply off and take or send to the DVLA. The following week I tried again and this time was successful. I was even helped by two very nice DVLA employees …. A few days later my Historic Tax disc arrived along with a letter giving me my new age related Reg.No. Have been using the van for short trips out to fetch parts and shopping. Don’t want to stray too far as the engine sounds like it going to throw a rod or two. For the last few weeks I have continued knocking dent out of the body work Before…. And after…. The roof has been a pain with me spending a week slowly beating and heat shrinking it back into some sort of shape. I must add that I *loody hate the body work side of all my projects. I’m just not that good at it.. So with countless boringly painful hours spent on one panel I have drawn a line, besides this thing is so tall you cant see the roof anyway….. Dave………..

This week I started the panel above the rear door. At some point this had been removed. I think to get much taller cargo in. Hence the badly damaged roof panel. I managed to google a picture taken square on of the rear and from this work out approximate sizes of the pressed panel. I carefully cut this panel out along with the rear door hinge section. As my beading machine has not got a long reach I had to make 4 separate panels Weld them all together, trim to size and trial fit. The hinge panel was then careful pealed of the upper panel. The lower half having to be replaced due to rot. Dave………..

Really enjoying your attention to detail, like the panel above the rear door, you could have left it and I imagine most people wouldnt have noticed. Nice work.

Great work with the panel
Side note - those 'reinforcements' in the cargo area look like they barely deserve being called that! Does the metal being corrugated help with rigidity? It kind of looks like that whole part of the body would flex if you were to rock the van by hand on a rear corner

It kind of looks like that whole part of the body would flex if you were to rock the van by hand on a rear corner Yes the panels being corrugated does help with the rigidity of the van. The metal is the thinnest ive ever come across in all the years’ ive been working on cars.. Its dam hard to weld without blowing holes in it. Citroens idea was to keep the weight down. The van is remarkably light for its size. The front doors are so thin they flex all over the place…. Dave

I heard somewhere that 2CVs were made using 0.6mm steel - that's probably the same stuff the van's made of then.
