Last time I was there I saw lots of places renting bling wheels out... The Park Hampers end of the bling market.
I appreciate why they do it but not why anyone would wish to emulate the insanity. But then I saw a group of yooves in pastel coloured baby grow style trackies at the weekend all yo to da homiez and all that sad cack. So I have no doubt plenty do follow whatever bizarre trends they get told to.

Yup, its all about how much cash you can throw at some grim looking chromed up rims, not about any thoughtful or considered modification for aesthetic or performance reasons. Like lowriders you mean?

pretty much. Or anything built by Boyd Coddington in the last few years either for that matter if we're getting the diss blunderbuss out and showering as much curse word round as possible.

Nail on the head there A-K... If you grow up in 'da hood', with no money, no future... and you 'make it big', whether by fair means or foul, you're making a statement that you have done it, that you have cash to burn and everyone else had better take notice! Tastless, trashy, but a way of life. *sniff* that's so beautiful *sniff* the reasons behind the 'bling' culture are wide and varied - one of them is having absolutely no taste. Tinkers used to do it too - "I'm wearing ALL my jewellery to show my status" Hey Pog - go hug a traveller ! (wow - that was way more aggressive than I meant it but... live by the sword.. haha. i'm such a t!t)

Imagine Donk stance with Boso camber... *n and the exhausts to match!!!!111!! I like Donks, simply because they're impractical and stupid. if I had one it'd be tongue in cheek though, with totally awful pinstriping... nothing against them, but I would like to see some with uprated axles/hubs, you know why
