I think I'll be making this a regular series... The wheels are wrong (totally!), but that looks like a Duratec V6 under there. Perfect retro-bahnstormer!

That's a MkII Granada...a base model if that's the original colour. I think the wheels are quite well suited too. The flat face suits the slab sided styling, perhaps some AMG 5-holes would suit it better though.

OMG that's sooo phat. I remember as a lad my dad had a 2300cc GL in gold with chrome wheels. Would have looked even more "the nuts" on those wheels (shame they weren't invented in 1985!). Oh and it was a bona-fide minicab too! (He also had several Mercs, Rover V8's, big Pugs and other gas-guzzling monsters on his fleet at one time or another. Nutter!)

Not again! Darren, stop saying the same thing as me at the same time! ;D I KNOW its a Granada you numptys, I was lamenting the fact that those German look early 80's Fords look so good, but I can't seem to find a Mk4 Corty for sale in the UK... plenty of Mk3s and Mk5s though,..

My parents had a Gold Granny when I was about 5 ;D then chopped it in for a Grey one (the Gold one was a 78 and the Grey one an 83) I've always quite hankered after getting myself one.... would have to add it to the ever growing list though

Oh I saw that one in a magazine a while back! Now that is a Cossie engine, and the car's bloody fast apparently.
