Hardcore and I spotted that at the JCCS. He's being a bit cunning with the badges though, as its a ZX, not a Z. The 280Z used the same shell as the 260Z. 280Z

It's a 'Fairlady 280Z' ( or rather the emblems are.... ) You're confusing the S30-series with the S130-series. Japanese market never used the 'X' suffix in the S130-series model names, so the Japanese domestic market S130-series Zs were all either 'Fairlady Z' ( Z, Z-L, Z-T etc ) with 2-litre engines or 'Fairlady 280Z' ( Z, Z-L, Z-T etc ) with 2.8 litre engines.

these are so over shadowed by the 240/260z. and they don't deserve it. by far a nicer looking car with better lines. and I own a 260z. need to buy these before they go to phone number prices.
