Selling my Peugeot 106 Diesel, Bought this car as a stop gap for a few months after getting rid of my BMW, I bought it because it was cheap to run/insure and I could run about in it until I picked up something else.
Only reason I'm getting rid is ive now bought a VW Diesel for daily duties.
First off, car is a cheap runner, nothing more nothing less, bodywork has marks and dents all over.
83K Miles, on a diesel, its nothing. I changed the oil and filter about two weeks ago thats all ive done in terms of work since ive had it.
Only real bad point I can think of is the clutch is high and the release bearing rattles, However its been like that for ages according to the previous owner who'd had it since 2002, The cluch doesnt slip its just got a super high biting point and rattles on idle sometimes. end of the day a new clutch for it on here is £30 and it's not a difficult job but I wouldn't bother, don't fix what isn't broke.
It does 60+MPG No matter how you drive it, £30 to fill it up and that'll do between 280-320 Miles with ease.
Tax and MOT, Tax will stay on if I get the price I want.
MOT until August, I have no idea what it'll need to go through the next if anything, everything works as far as I know apart from the horn, the horn doesnt work, I don't know why I havent even checked, but its such a simple car it wont be hard to sort, and other than the horn I don't think it'll need anything to go through the next MOT.
No power steering, no anything, it's basic and so slow that old people give YOU the finger.
However it starts every time and never fails to get you where you need to go for next to nothing in fuel also.
It's a basic car thats completely reliable and costs next to nothing to run.
I'm asking what less than what it owes me, including the tax I want £350.
Car is located in Melksham, Wiltshire.
Cash on Collection
Any questions etc etc Message me on here or TEXT 07564046341, I don't answer numbers I do not know.
Thanks, Dan
