a classic fanatic i know is having trouble on his daily driver eary ford granada scorpio, its the abs, is this needed to work for mot time???
the brakes are superb just the abs is'nt working as it should i thought it could be the sensors as there are some in or close to the caliper, i'm not that familer with fords
plz help

Does it have an ABS warning light? If ABS is fitted, it has to work, or at least appear to, to pass the MOT. Removing the light or disabling it do not count, as they will check that! (or should ;D) www.motuk.co.uk/manual_340.htm

(or should ;D) www.motuk.co.uk/manual_340.htm ;)and wiring the ABS light up to the oil pressure switch is definately very naughty as it might fool an MOT tester into thinking the ABS warning lamp is working properly!
