Hi Folks. Thought I'd share a few photo's of my 1989 Vauxhall Carlton Gsi3000. I've spent the last 10 years (on and off) restoring the car, finally finishing it and getting it back on the road at the beginning of last year. Some of you (in the Vauxhall fraternity) may recognise this car from VODC, Total Carlton, ABS, Detailing World, or from a couple of shows I attended last year (the ones that weren't cancelled due to last years' appalling weather!!) I attended the 2013 Retro Car Mania show at Weston Park last Sunday (2nd June) where I'm sure many of you guys on here were also displaying your fine automobiles. Below are some photos of the finished car taken last year, and a couple from Sunday. Cheers. Mark. They're getting rare now, and quite sought after which means prices are starting to increase and certain folk are always interested in these big barges. Thanks dallow Cheers Pal.

Sublime car and work, paintwork is sublime. Me and my brother are just starting out to rescue this Gsi3000 younger brother a Gsi2000 in black, if its half as good as this I would be chuffed. Well done bud

I got to drive one years ago when I worked at a car auctions, remember thinking what a really nice car it was to drive. Great to see one being restored & looked after, it's just like a new one!!

That is STUNNING...!!!
I always had a soft spot for 80's Griffin GSi's and the Carlton was king!
My mates old dear had a silver Auto' and it used to shift like $h!t of a highly polished shovel...!!!
I'd love to grab one of these but, as you say they are becoming rarer by the month.
Well done on making yours such a stunning example, the level of workmanship is superb.
