Hi guys,
Just arranging a few of us for the weekend, itll be our first time for all of us (around 8) wondering what the camping is like and where is it in relation to the track?
Is the camping loud, annoying all night long etc or is it all nicely chilled out, guys drinking talking cars to each other like I hope it is?!
Is here anything on the Saturday or is it all on the Sunday, runs out? Anything worth going to in the area as a little trek out?
Looking forward to it!
Cheers Chris

I assume you mean for RR13? The camp site is across the road from the track, the club house at Prescott has just been rebuilt and has good facilities, the site is ok as camping goes with portable toilets, not too bad at night but it depends which end of the field you are normally. Hope this helps

Fair play! Just picked it up on the recent threads, yeah it's my third year and its normally the bottom end of the field that's noisy but not excessively tbh, I have been to a lot worse! Saturday day there is normally a run out to a scrap yard, also Cheltenham is not too far away and good for a cruise around. Show day is Sunday.

Camping is great. we were right down the loud end last year, and it really wasn't loud! We were probably the loudest people there, with a tiny drum kit and guitar, singing all night in the back of a camper. There was a big crowd of old skool VW people a tents up and we were expecting them to be loud all night long, but even they were keeping it reasonable.
I mean, it's no family site, but after a few drinks you shouldn't have any trouble getting a few hours good kip.
That is, unless someones alarm goes off for hours at STUPID o clock in the morning again...

The camping IMO is the best bit, homebrew, homebrewed machine, awesome cars and the best people to grace this fair planet. Seriously can't wait!

The good thing is it is marshalled so if anyone gets too out of hand they will either tell them to calm down or get out. Unlike the chavs at Ford Fair who were revving engines till 3am! Cant wait
