This is actually my friend's car, but I'd said I'd help her sell it.
The original ad is here on gumtree: here
It's a 1994 Golf Cabriolet in red.
It has a short MOT and tax, although it is in generally good condition. It drives beautifully, is FANTASTIC in this weather and is a very nice place to spend some time.
Bad points:
Borked driver's window mech. Like every single one on the planet, it's not working. I have bought her a spare to fit, but she never got it done. (I did the wiper motor and heater fan, but ran out of time and courage when it came to the window)
It had a knock down the passenger side - she was actually forced off the road by a van driver pulling across in front of her. This cost her a new tyre and track rod end and/or front wishbone (can't quite remember) but it has at least been fixed. The remaining issue is purely cosmetic (as shown in pics)
I'd be happy to answer any questions I can, or I could direct you straight to the owner.
She's advertised it at £600, but she's open to offers because to be honest, neither of us is sure what it's worth!
*Now looking for £400, having pulled my finger out and done a little research!*
