This might be a bit vague, but I'm wondering if these hold any value? I've had a look about the net and theres around 40 or so 255s left that are either SORN or Registered.
My grandfather had one, and basically, ever since he passed it's been left stand on the drive, as we've never come to part with it. It's on an old Y '82. The cab and chasis looks pretty decent, there is a bit of rust starting to show over wheel arches and above the door line. The interior is mostly origional and doesn't look terrible.
The drop sides/back have been scrapped, they were aluminium and the bottom had rotted through, so all that went.
Couldn't tell if you it runs. It's been stood that long, I don't think it would without a bit of looking at.
Wondered if they are worth anything or if they are ever something restorers look for? Otherwise it's going to the scrap yard.
