	Weather ideal, good turnout, nice scenery, but only one s*dding FIAT X1/9! (200 mile round trip to see one car I could have looked out my kitchen window to see!) It was organised by the Alfa owners club and supported by some Scottish FIAT club, there were plenty moderns (if you love the new FIAT 500 or Alfa coupe you would have wet yourself!) but a decent amount of classics to keep us occupied for a bit. Anyway, who likes red cars?! Who likes shiney engines?! Who likes scrolling thru car pictures?! Here you go then... This was a kit with a Capri 2.8 engine in it. Plenty people were looking at it disapprovingly but I thought it was a pretty decent attempt. It was certainly a decent build. Sorry, a modern! We are the mods! We are the mods! We are we are etc. Decent turnout.

	The MRS. asked if this was 'Just like a BMW 325 copy'. We just about had to leg it! Look at the bottom left corner. Its not just X1/9s with dodgy Italian wiring, LOL!

	There's nothing Italian about that dodgy wiring. That's good old fashioned British bodgery there.

	The only X1/9 there! Wasn't really that many Lancias there either now I think about it. POWER! The most popular vehicle wasnt even Italian!

	I saw a white X1/-9 on the M74 on Saturday. Looks like he didn't make it. Very rare car to see on the roads now. My brother had a 1300 Lido back in the day and a couple of 1500s. Good fun.
