don't know whether anyone on here has sat their theory test recently, but i did mine today...and there are some cracking retros in the hazard preception bit.
a particularly nice A reg Orion caught my eye, as did an early Metro, Meastro and several Mini's.
Its really distracting when you're trying to find "potential hazards"

I did. 33/35 for the theory bit and 60ish for the hazard perception [the total is 70] this is for my motorcycle license though, I've got to go back and do it again for my car license..

its rubbish. you have to answer 35 questions about the theory of the road. Things like, what is affected when driving in the rain (brakes and grip) etc. all that rubbish. its totally useless, but you have to of passed it before you can do your practical test....and it costs £21! as is the hazard preception because you just click the mouse at the most minor of things.

i rode a bike for two years then did the theory, and i passed the hazard perception with the minimum 42/70, just before it was phased up to 44/70 to pass! and if i with 2 years road use couldnt do it right... :s

Surely everything on the road and around it is a hazzard of some sort? Good work on the pass. I can hear it in the exam room now... "Spot any hazzards Mr Norman? " "Yes that maestro is dangerously high, and the Orion needs a good two-dooring..."

I've done hazard perception loads of times for a giggle (didn't have to do it on my test, just the theory) and there's some brilliant motors! Apparently flagging up a Austin Metro as a hazard because "it's probably about the break down suddenly" doesn't count

Lucky... at least they make it interesting for you!
All I remember our one having, is generic red or blue early 90's styled nondescriptmobiles. That was almost 10 years ago now though.

sadly I need to do another theory for my bike licence. do they tell you the result straight away now? I took my car theory pre hazzard awareness, so I've got that to look forward too as well. congrats skoda_norman!

Yeah, you get a letter and certificate as you're leaving. the letter has your actual scores on and a load of other curse word, but the certificate is the main tell tale sign of "i've passed" are you re-sitting your test or something?

Kept failing my ADI beause I was looking at the cars not the hazards Needed 57 but kept hitting 56 all the time. Kept getting 94 out of 100 on the theory though.

I can barely remember doing mine.
All I can remember really is the door of a minibus opening into the carriageway and me readying myself for some frantic clicking. ;D

Kept getting 94 out of 100 on the theory though. know that feeling, took me five attempts.its more down to the poxy software the dvla have than lack of ability,i spoke to a driving instructor with 20 years experience and he failed.kept getting the message "dvla think you are cheating feck orf " or similar ;D the theory was easy got either 98 or 100 ,but that ruddy hazard test gggrrrrrrr
