I had these in my shed, and i've got no idea what they are from! There Bilstein, but have a Ford Part number on them. They are the shortest dampers i've ever seen as you can see in the picture a front and a rear lined up against MK2 Escort Quarter Bumpers, the fronts being the short ones, the top and bottom of them are also really strange. Please can you help me find out what they are from? I e-mailed Bilstein with the part-number but got no reply. Here are the pictures.

They could well be Cortina 3/4/5 units - about the only Ford that didn't have McPherson struts. Possibly Granada 1/2.

The Bilstein part number comes up with a 66-75 Ford Bronco.

you sure, the part number is H-71-GB-18077-AA, I though maybe they could have come from something built in '71 and also in GB?
I just e-mailed an american bronco specialist to ask him anyway.

i've spent my afternoon searching bronco sites, still can't find anything about them, found this though which would explain the shortness of them, maybe this is from a later one or something with different mounts?

Maybe a Cortina owner could measure their shocks - if these are in the same ballpark length wise they'd be excellent. Bilsteins are excellent shocks.
