The 117 is my favourite Japanese car EVAR. More than an early Mazda Cosmo, more than A KPGC Skyline. Yes, even more than a Datsun 2000 lo-screen roadster.

CCHL is one of those places where people pay five-figure sums for MGB roadsters with stainless steel cover sills.
What colour is the 117? Is it a yellowy-gold colour? If so i'm sue i've seen it on the bay, also a maroon one has appeared on there once before a couple of times.

looks to be silvery blue from the photo and the DVLA details.
If its UK from new it could be hella rusty too.
Lovely looking car, I'm off to google for more pics, but it it me or does it look like a Fiat 128 Coupe - a lot!
Small Datsun with a bautchered Ford V8 sounds like my kinda ride.
I doubt any of these can be rescued for their true cash value though...
