I just knew that was gonna be a 117 before the pic came up! Nothing sad about it being not unique, I wish there hundreds of `em.
I`m surprised they let people in that place at all, I mean, just how much retro car fan semen do they want to have to clean up?

Yeah I spotted the green Fairlady in that 4th pic down and wondered why no one else had commented!
Thankfully the 117's an early one too, the facelifted ones looked so rotten

I'll try and get there at the weekend for some better shots. He said he'd want a couple for it (I'm guessing K here) due to it's rarity with it being the only one in the country but if it's not, then he may have to come down with the price (sadly, way out of my league at the mo) I must admit, I was quite fond of the Datsun (can't be too many of those around either) and when asked about price on that, he just said "open to bids" (I hate that, I'd rather have a ballpark figure to work on) I wondered what that green one was too, thanks Michiel (I must swat up more on J stuff) ;D

117's don't sell for that much in j-land and come up relatively frequently.
If anyone wants one i can put you in touch with a man who can....

A lot of elbow grease and other work involved then you could end up with a Fairlady/Roadster like this one: Were there cars officially imported into the UK? I see quite a few over here Stateside but never remember seeing a Fairlady/Roadster in the UK?

Nice find. I'd have either of those three. Would take the Roadster over the 117 but.. only just |__| by about that much.

I've looked at both of those roadsters first hand and IMO niether are really worth buying. The light mettalic green one has had a ford V8 badly butchered into it and has very little to recommend it. A lot of the trim and fittings are missing and if you look closely it's also had a nice hole carved in the bonnet to clear the badly fitted engine.
The dark green one has the virtue of being an early 1500 which is the prettiest of the roadsters but is also actually pretty rusty and would need a lot of work to make it decent. Parts are harder to find for 1500's and of course it's also the slowest version of the roadster too as it has the smallest engine.
If you want a roadster just import a decent working one from the states. In the long run it'll be much cheaper and less hassle. This is probably why that place has had those two for so long. I would think they've been there at least 6 years.
