I haven't got a pic (I deleted it by accident but Deatons Scrapyard near Chesterfield have a complete but terminally shagged pre green Consul. They won't break it so it has to be sold as one hit. There are no panels worth saving but it's all complete and has a steel visor. Still has clean oil in the sump and I'm sure it still turns over - meaning it'll run with petrol and decent plugs :-) There's also a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine - again, rusted out but absolutely complete. I must have another pic, somewhere............

Could do with a light T-cut and the odd bit wafting over with an aerosol here and there. Marina next door looks saveable, and those 8 spokes look a good match for it.

The plate is RRR557, issued in Nottingham so it hasn't travelled too far. It's not on the DVLAc computer which means it's not been on the road since the mid seventies by which time it was already 20 years old. The Marina is a series 2 with the sloping dash, a Super 1.8 I think.
Come to think of it - there's a very saveable Fiesta 1300S on a W plate in there.

They arrived about 6 weeks ago. I know what you mean about all the old frag around the back - mainly old Jags and stuff. You must have dealt with John, the geezer with the white beard.

I've no idea, but being a scrapyard they're probably on drugs. If I had a Mark 1 Consul I'd be paying £3-500 and stripping it to a bare shell and stashing the bits away. I'm used to just nipping down the breakers to get a bit for one of my sh*tters and you can't do that with these.
