Sadly for sale is my beloved Micra - grab a complete bargain before I weigh it in.
I bought this car in 2009 with 30k on the clock and since then it's been everywhere, used as a daily driver for work, gone to Scotland, Europe, moved house, done an autosolo, used it to get to work through the snow, basically this has been used for EVERYTHING. I've kept it as a backup car since it's never ever let me down but with 4 other cars, I've just hardly used it so it's got to go.

Bad bits first:
- Needs some paint on the driver's side. It was going to get painted in matt/satin olive green, hence why some of the imperfections/dings were filled in - never got a chance to paint it and won't. Some of my friends have described its current look as quirky and "hipster", I just think it looks like it's been assaulted with a paintball gun.
- Driver's sill has some rust to the rear edge - common problem on Micras. I cleaned it up for MOT to see how bad the rust was, it hadn't gone through so I filled/painted it and left it as is and it wasn't an issue for the test. The whole sill outer costs about £25 if you want to replace it. Personally I wouldn't bother until it gets a lot worse. The front radiator cross member (a common rot spot for micras) has only got superficial rust and needs no attention.
- Front N/S CV joint clicks on RH turns. About 2 years ago it failed MOT on a split gaiter - I'm guessing some dirt had got into it around then. I cleaned it all out, reassembled with a new CV boot, and it's not got worse since. It's a £15 part but as it's not got any worse I never bothered to change it. There is no backlash in drive take-up etc. it just clicks when turning.
- Some marks here and there on it, no major dents or panel damage, just car park dings and scuffs etc.. Please do not expect a new car!
- The fuel tank overflow/vent pipe leaks a bit if you top the tank up to full and then start throwing it sideways into corners. It never leaks petrol when standing or motorway driving or if you don't fill up to past 3/4 full. Never been a problem for me so I just left it.
- Passenger door is a bit stiff - just needs some oiling of the hinge, it's because it's never ever used.
- It's missing the 3rd brake light (got knocked off when carrying some car parts around) and the heated rear screen doesn't work but it might just be a connector that got unplugged (never use it, only found out when testing all the switches the other day)
GOOD BITS:
- Starts first time every time always. Never had any problems with the engine.
- Remote central locking both windows all work perfectly.
- Goes, stops and turns as you'd expect. Loads of fun to drive.
- 40mpg real world average (I recorded every single fill up since September 2011!), over 50 if trying, 30 if absolutely caning it.
- Cheap tax, cheap insurance, cheap service items, everything is cheap!
- I've serviced the car myself since I bought it, it's had oil changes every 6000 miles, I replaced all the brakes for the MOT a couple of years ago, hasn't needed anything else.
- New battery from Halfords last year.
- Interior in good nick. Obviously scuffs on some plastics and in the loadspace from carrying things, but it cleans up nice and is all there.
Note: Stereo not included. I can leave all the audio cabling in it if you want for an extra £30 (good quality 2 pairs of RCA, 4 gauge power with volt display distribution block to power two amps under the seats, 16 gauge speaker cabling routed from amps to front doors).
I see no reason why it won't fly through the next MOT other than needing a new set of tyres - the ones on it are getting a bit thin.
I also have a set of genuine Nissan Cube 15" alloys (you can see them in one of the photos on the car) that you can have for £50.
Want ridding of it quick, it's up for sale for a few days for £250 to you fine, fine people.
After that it's going down the scrappy (I need the space more than the money!) My insurance ran out on it so I'm not going to get it to an MOT station.
It's got over half a tank of petrol in it by the way!
