I'm genuinly considering getting a Fiat Cinquecento at the moment as they seem like a right laugh and funky stupid little cars. I'm thinking about making is something along the lines of ok ok, so a guy can dream cant he ;D ;D Anyway i am sensing that the euro/ satin black route could be good, now the black sporting would give me a good base to start with, and black wheels with it lowered looks partuicularly awesome i think. I think its someones on here but I'm basically after something like this with accessories like this I'm desperate for inspiration though, so if anyone has any ideas i'd love to hear them. I'm not going to be putting cannons on the roof etc, but i am looking for design cues so to speak, so anything a bit unusual and dark would greatly help ;D Additionally if anyone can tell me what they are like in general id appreciate it. THANKS

Satin black on a cinquecento is a winning combo add this too............ chrome wing mounted mirrors Curb feelers Skull exhaust trim and some moon discs Just some food for thought Probably of no interest but this cinquecento is a beast.......

You can't really pull off the hearse treatment on a Cinq. It needs to be a big stupid car or you'll just end up looking like that guy who's "Ferarri Cinqecento" was getting so much hillarity all around the net forums every time it went on eBay...
Concentrate on getting it slammed and neatly detailed. I'd go for the "less is more" especially on such a diddy car. Euro...
I'm not sure about the "50s chrome accessories on a 90s car" thing but if it works for you, go for it. Warning: much of the Moon stuff is absolute shockingly poor quality, better off getting autojumble or ebay original items where possible. Unless this is a "passing phase" in which case it would probably last long enough.

I disagree Alastair. I think that if ALL the detailing is done right, it could really work. Gotta be sump-scrapingly low though, with just the 'right' details.... Think of the WTF? caused by bodydrop's Nova - that worked, so no reason why this can't.

I think that if ALL the detailing is done right, it could really work. Your right. But painting it flat black, nailing aload of poundshop skulls and other assorted chrome detritus (sp) will just create a Goth clowncar.

if tis goth you're after, i doubt the chrome bits would work at all. that 'dark' said is sensed, not shown by stuff like that. now, by all means get a Proper Metal gearknob, nice heavy one. leather of course works well, it might be worth looking at getting things re-upholstered in black leather with sud fastenings, with spikes and suchlike in places it wont be sore. remove the grill and fit bars, or 'teeth' perhaps. but it VERY hard to create a car along these lines. believe me, I'm 2.5 years into creating the 'slamgoth' niche and it is HARD work!

One of those "I wish I'd taken more photos" moments...
Talking of goth clowncars... a mate if mine many years ago had his sister's old Chevette saloon. He painted it matt black and "retrimmed" the interior with black binliners. Inclusing the headliner. He had some small coffin thing attached to the centre console to make an ashtray/centre console. There were pound shop skeletons, skuls and whatnot liberally decorating the interior. The bonnet was decorated with the sheep on drugs skull and crossed hyperdermics logo (actually, he didn't make a bad job of that) and down the side he painted "Christian Death" with the upturned crucifix logo. Unfortunately down the passenger side he didn'ty have enough space and ended up with "Christian Deat" and the "H" underneath... LMFAO.
Its a good job he did the interiror with binliners as it was easy to clean... the guy used to get so off his face he'd puke up all over himself and then drive home. Sometimes puking up in the car. On one occasion he apparently spent the night int he mioddle of a roundabout after he passed out behind the wheel.
At least once I stole his keys but there was no stopping him.
Amazingly he managed to drive around like this for about a year before being pulled over and banned from driving. At this point his sister asked for the car back that she'd "LEANT" him and the poo poo really hit the fan LOL. IIRC it was scrapped at this point.
I wish I had a photo of that thing.
Maybe I should create a replica LOL. But Notts Police probably still have it on their "Most wanted" list

Someone has a "goth clowncar" '57 Chevy, I must have photos of that somewhere. I'll post them. Its a bit scary. I saw up at the Whitby goth fest 2-3 years ago. Rumour was it was Dave Vanian's but it isn't. Belongs to some tall skinny guy with a top hat.

Not just top hat, the "full Victorian" if you know what I mean. But the top hat was what kinda took my attention. They only tend to be worn by a certain type if you know what I mean...
I once bought a car because it matched my girlfriend's newest corset... At least that was the excuse - or the reason I was "allowed" to buy it. LOL.

Awesome response so thanks. (love your story btw alistar LOL)
I'm at work at the moment and not supposed to be on here so if anything i say makes no sense you have a basic idea why, well that and I'm unhooked anyway.
I'm very very aware that creating a truly "evil / goth" car is neigh on impossible and needs a certain type of car (slammed amazon FTW).
Therefore I'm not really looking for that, I've been googling like mad to try to find the sort of thing that I'm planning but to no avail. The Cinquecento is a terrible base car for a true "goth" i'd, painting the bauhaus logo on the bonnet and scibbling siouxsie rules ok up the side would look wibblepoo (actually thinking about it, a really twisted part of me thinks that could work, oh dear), I am however trying to get a kinda screamin deamon kind of car.
Something to make me smile and laugh at how rediculous it is, the accessories that have been posted are EXACTLY the sort of thing that I'm after, I'm collecting inspiration at this point, i might make a photo chop later to try to illustrate my ideas a bit better.
And i personally think that it could work, so long as its scraping the floor!
I'm not so much going for a hearse look, just that kinda thing, think drag strip clothing, pinup, funky goth, whatever you want to call it.
I'd love moon discs on it too, is that actually possible though?
Its not the dark I'm UBER GOTH hearse look that I'm looking for, more a kinda OH NOES TO THE GOTH MOBILE!!! (fiat logo spins round in his head) pretty hard to explain, bloody daft evil looking i guess.
Think munsters not robert smith, I think it can be done.
