Okay folks when does show season start for all you lot?
Do the early ones in the year (Dub Freeze, Bristol Classic) count as the start? Or is there another one that really sets you off?
For me it is always Volksworld show now days,.. it used to be Cult Society Car Parade,.. but that is now after Volksworld....

I did that Xtreme wheels in feb last year, but show season coinsides with summer in my world, hitting peak at CARS time i reckon.

It used to be the NASC springnationals at Drayton Manor for me but I haven't been for a few years now though. I don't think I can identify a particular show now but it's usually some time in May when the weather is supposedly getting good and almost weekly events kick off I supoose at a push a really busy, warmish dry night at the Ace is always a good one. |

Wheels Day is my first. Although sometimes I've been tempted to an early start by Volksworld or by the NSRA Swapmeet.

Did a 2CV meet on Jan 14th! Events don't really stop throughout the year for me. Not really a show so much though.

First Show over here is usually 2nd weekend in April
Our last Mini Run was the first weekend in December and our first this year was 2nd weekend of February!

My season started on January 1st at the New Years Day classic car meet, but VW or Wheels is the real start for me  |

definatly wheels day for me and the main reason why the estate is being done over the the next couple of weeks to get it ready for wheels day |

Went to a show in the BM yesterday but it wasnt up to much.. Odd "scene"
I suppose the shows I really like start after my exams used to finish - early June!

Wheels Day will be the first for me this year....hopefully v8devon's letting me loose in his 300E van if it's finished, while he takes the 100E and his SWMBO pilots her 105E estate....Convoy FTW :-) Might do the OSF day at The Ace in April as well, would have been going to the NASC Swap Meet at Brafield on April 22nd if it wasn't for a certain Retro Breakfast at The Hollies, Cannock (see thread retrorides.proboards86.com/index.cgi?board=eam&action=display&thread=1169683775 ) You know what? Bring on the summer 'coz I can't wait! |

show season starts about easter with the first big show in NI i reckon. for me it will start whenever I have something (anything) ready!
