With an actual spanner in my hands today,... I'm shocked an appalled by this lapse...
Just want to say a big thanks to Black8Driver for letting me use space in his garage, his tools and when I was too weak to loosen bolts, his muscles...
Now I just need to make sure I remember to do up all the wheel nuts before leaving next time, then I won't end up stuck on the side of the road in the rain trying to find my socket set in the boot........

With respect, when I mentioned that it was a momentous occasion and it was a shame my camera battery had gone flat, you waved your oily hands in a face blocking 'pap' stylee and simply stated 'good' ;D Your time will come... Was some torrential rain we hit when leaving huh? I guess the wheel nut thing was the Datsun's way of saying 'that's for leaving my lights on when you go into a boozer'... I'll start this time, but you're still going to get wet  Although, it would have been me push starting you if the battery had been flat... Hmm. Remember kids, safety first, first aid last  |

Now, is that a reference to last years pre-CaRs wheel wobble or have you done it again? I did it again  Must have been distracted by all the talk of 16v Volvo engines and things,.. Still made it back in one piece,.. another lesson learn't (for the third time,.. I did the same thing on my old Alfa 33 one evening,.. escorting a girl home I made the same joke about going out to hand tighten my nuts about 30 times,..... still couldn't have been all bad, she married me...) |
