Success, Been battering on with getting niggly chores done since yesterday, moved no mountains yet but finally had a weekend+ to call my own.
Since we moved (again) the Cortina has been a junk store for the stuff it came with and excess ex garage junk, noticed its getting wet in ther so investigated today and found:

Tidied the corina boot/rear end right out and found some ugly damp rust if only I had a workshop and welding skillorz
what do yous think, not serious?

Is this foam filler standard on cortinas, any rust below it to worry about?
Cruddy damp boot lining, might rid this and replace a stretch of carpet
In other news;
-The MR2 is all dry inside after being left for some time! YES! I think I know why too
-Fixed sapph lock issues and leccy window runners
-and failed to get grumpy dad to help with sapph wing in order to sell it, so cracked on with that unfinished MOT sill fix in the mean time!
not ideal for letting rust sleep in, so

paper applied after a messy primer sessh!
done but then it rained on me!
There was a bit of over spray that needs wiping off somehow, I just wanted it done and out of my hair so I can get on with retro fun...
On with the rest of the chores, oh good. ;D
