Farm Auction season is starting again back home and I'm feeling homesick. Nothing like mostly rust free 50s vintage low mileage farm trucks, and unloved old cars that have been sitting for forty years. Damn, I'm getting homesick. Here's some links. You'll generally have to scroll down past all the tractors, semis, and combines to find the good stuff.
Here's some from Switzer Auctions.
Check out the '49 chevy and the '53 cornbinder.

'73 Ford 1/2 ton and a '64 Ford Custom sedan
www.switzerauction.ca/S_Apr_12/S_Apr_12.htm
I want this '75 Dodge 3/4 ton for parts for my 4x4. And scroll down to the bottom and check out the remains of the old World War II aeroplane. After the war many of the planes of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan including Bristol Bolingbrokes, and Hawker Hurricanes were auctioned off to prairie farmers for as little as $50 who bought them for the fuel in the tanks.

Lots of tasty tidbits here, from a restored 1946 Mercury Pick up, to lots of tatty old cars and multitudes of old tractors:

A 1958 Ford F100 ex-farm fuel truck with lots of potential. Many of these old trucks would have been used for perhaps a month out of the year at seeding and combining, running fuel out to the fields for the tractors and combines. Often they spent the rest of their life stored in quonset huts, so they tend to be low mileage and rust free.

A Jeep J10 pickup or a '56 Fairlane anyone?

Four more old farm trucks:

This '61 GMC pickup is seriously lustworthy, but scroll to the bottom and check out the 52 Chevy Sedan:

A 1969 GMC pickup, and if you scroll down farther you can bid on the very exclusive Kidillac.

A nice Ford 3/4 ton and check out the two old 50s Cornbinder flatdecks that would make great classic car haulers.
