Someone recently mentioned a twin engined scirocco seen in a rally mag years ago, and it jogged my memory (mainly because of the amusing bit in the advert: "although it would be fair to say that the owner of the Porsche 911 Turbo will not be congratulating himself on giving you a thrashing on bootspace" I thought it was called the Twirocco but don't bother googling that it aint even a googlewhack! Anyway here they are, they made 2, one of which featured futuristic quality street alloys! :

A guy called Kim Mather built and rallied a twin-engined Scirocco in the UK back in the late 1980's, I think he was from up near Chester. Remember seeing it on a couple of events and it was devastatingly quick.
