	do these share the same floor panel ala granada/bugeye? i thibk the carlton shatres the floorpnael with the omega (to small). also; 1 - how easy is it to convert the 24v senator to a manual (it wouldn't be in a senator)? ive seen police manual ones so i'd guess these were common on the continent. all senator questions; 2 - how easy is it to swap rear suspension bushes ? do i need a special tool? i am prepared to bodge. 3 - longitudinal brake pipes - are they a difficult (over the tank) job? 4 - has the 24v ever been shoved sucessfully into a chevette? 5 - what size tyres are the 24v standard? 6 - is the n/s/r sill within welding distance of a fuel pipe? 7 - roughly how much are front discs. circa £35ish? I'm looking at a mot failure. ;D ta.

	I recently got given an ex plod senny 24v, manual too. quite a few around if you look hard, IIRC BC says you get better MPG out of the auto, plus theres no danger of having to replace the clutch master cylinder (PITA). brake pipes don't go over the tank, the tanks under the boot floor my 24v uses 205/65 15 tyres. I'm not expierienced enough with these things yet, so await a reply from bstardchild, the man who knows all about these some pics of mine to liven the thread up I'm really enjoying the old bus, top luxo-barge cruiser

	do you get better mpg out of the auto or manual. the car will only be used for driving to germany at 100mph then sold. ta.

Enough to have a party with some friends ;D I'm not quite sure what you are driving at??? 5 people in total comfort can travel at speeds up to 150 mph till the fuel runs out which unfortunately it does quite quickly at 7mpg
