I have been writing up my Ride Report linked below, on the trip I just completed. Final report starts on page 22. LINK: www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=106063.06200km plus on a motorbike and a load more in cars and pickup trucks in April. One of the cars I saw, and keep in mind South Africa has masses of "retro fodder" with cars like the Citi Golf (MkI Golf) being built new until very recently as an entry level and useful runabout car. When I saw this car it just made me smile, to me colour, stance and overall finish was just right, but I did strugle with the colour..... It is not yellow, it is not orange, could it be called Curry ? (Like a mild curry powder) Hope you like it. Some more interesting late 60's and early 70's Japanese cars and pickups to come later.

PS: The follow up to the tougher than nails old Datsun/Nissan 1400 Bakkie. Sometimes they just do not get it right. The one and only... recently killed off by Nissan SA after about 21 years in production. Or add a Turbo to the hot 1400cc engine. And a pic of SA's most popular small pickup just to see what you think. I suspect they will make it to Retro status and become popular with SA Retro drivers in time.

That Bakkie is just a re-badged Dacia Logan. Now that is agood find of info Dom. Thanks. I know the Dacias are sold and badged outright as Renaults in SA. I never knew, but it makes sense.
