mot exempt, and tax exempt. taxed until april 2014. original low mileage petrol engine still fitted. runs but would benefit from a service (points / condensor etc.). the chassis/ running gear is superb. I also have a set of 4 excellent matching replacement tyres to go with it as the ones on it are starting to show their age. the cab is in need of some tlc, though it is a very primitive structure so if you can weld it's not much of an issue. that said, it's not about to fall apart and can be used as is but in my opinion the rust issues would be better addresses now rather than later. front window seals are a joke, they don't fit properly at all so the glass has been gaffer taped in! (i did not do this) the glass is flat and any good chunky lipped rubber window seal should do the trick. I was going to use a vw bay window windscreen rubber but haven't got round to it. the rear brake flexi from the chassis to the rear axle, and the o/s front one have been removed as they were starting to perish, and the master cylinder was knackered. whilst searching for a master cylinder rebuild kit I stumbled across a n.o.s. master cylinder. included but not fitted. the old wooden bed was removed and disposed of as it seemed only good for growing fungus! as it's a historic vehicle this can be driven unladen (with a back of any description, but sans load) on a normal car license. if you wanted to put it to work you'd need a class 2. the other option quite commonly seen as a k9 use would be to convert into a camper van. so long as the conversion had plumbed in gas and water it can also be driven on a normal car license. (crazy laws).
usual sob story forcing potential sale. short of time/ space, skint!
