Looking to sell my trusty little breadvan!
Currently its just hit the 80k marker and racking up a few urban miles until I sell it!
Its ALMOST completely standard. It has a racing steering wheel (not by choice but by last owner) and has been lowered but am not sure by how much.
This is not to say its been ragged through fields, jumped over moats and wheelspan until the cows got scared and did one..... one the contrary.
The car runs well, gets a decent average fuel consumption and isn't going to disappoint. Granted the ride can be bumpy on cobbled streets , the 1.0L engine isn't going to propel you to mars and back before you've had chance to get your seatbelt on, and the passenger window can be slightly stiff at times but isn't that half the beauty in old V Dubs? Been on a few large runs to Newcastle, liverpool, wales and bradford and didn't miss a beat.
Some little gem decided to pull the aerial from the car but between me and you guys, they did a neat job!
This isn't going to be the best car you've ever had but you will love it.
Feels like a go kart (just not as fast over 70)... fairly nippy to 65-70 compared to other 1.0L's I've driven.
Gets appreciation from vdubbers
LONG mot(Feb '14) and 5.5 months tax its worth the asking price considering there are many that are in a horrible condition compared to this. V cheap insurance obviously (just over £400 for myself and partener fully comp.)
1 set of keys (standard)
Some loud speakers in the back if you're into that kinda thing
Touch screen headunit from MEOS sound. CD/USB/Aux, Dvd etc. including remote control and DVD ready incase you want to install in the headrests.
4 SPEED... oh yes
Clutch isn't high, gearbox is all gravy and the engine sounds normal with no exstensive noise (just a little tappty tap as it should).
Tyres are all above board, if you're picky you may want to get a pair but they'll be fine for a while yet!
The car will last for years yet.
As far as I can tell, thats everything!!
Looking for 500 OVNO. Only had the car for a few months now but genuine reason for sale is I just learnt my family is expanding by 1 so gonna be buying an estate tdi instead.
Added just one picture which isn't the best but will add more as soon as I can.
Located in York... Central. Contacted by TEXT anytime or can ring late afternoons/early evenings as I work nights.
